Biography:
I was born in Edmonton, Alberta on March 9th, 1983. My parents came from South Korea looking for a better life and luckly landed in Calgary, then moved to Edmonton where I was born. Soon after we moved to Vancouver where shortly my younger brother was born in less then a year. As soon as my brother was born we moved to Toronto where my mother had a career opportunity she could not pass up. We eventually settled down and lived in Toronto ever since.
As of today, I currently work at Novotel at Front Office as well as Sheraton Toronto Centre in Room Service.
Besides working everyday, my hobbies consist of collecting and selling sports memorabilia through private business, as well as playing baseball. As an ambition I'd like to monopolize a tourist strip to maximize profit into my pocket.
From this Internation E-Marketing course, I would like to gain the knowledge on how to become more competitive online in the tourism sector. To be able to have that extra edge over any competition could make or break an organization. My goal is to understand the online market and how beneficial it can be to have that kind of resource at the tip of your fingers.
